CURRENT POSITIONS
Relief Employees
Currently we are interviewing for individuals to work on a relief basis in our various programs. Relief employees fill a vital role at Wesley Urban Ministries providing support and backup in our programs. Shifts are scheduled on an as needed basis and may include days, afternoons and nights along with weekends.
Our current needs include:
Early Childhood Educators - must have a diploma in Early Childhood Education and experience working in a child care setting.
Youth Mentors - must have a diploma or degree in Child & Youth Work or Social Services. Experience working with youth is essential as are proven skills in case management.
Cook - must have a minimum of 2 years experience in quantity cooking; have their Safe Food Handling Certificate and have knowledge of applicable legislation and standards.
Candidates for all positions must also have current CPR/First Aid.

PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
Wesley Urban Ministries currently has an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about youth and shares our vision of a community where justice and compassion guide the way we live; where all members are treated with respect and dignity.
The opportunity is a leadership role as Supervisor of our Wesley Youth Housing program. Wesley Youth Housing is a semi-independent housing program for homeless youth or youth at-risk of homelessness between the ages of 16-21. While the youth have their own individualized goals, an overarching goal for all youth in the program is stable housing in the community.
To fill this position we are seeking an independent, collaborative individual with a diploma/degree in a related field and at least 3 years experience in the following areas:
• Case Management
• Supervising staff
• Youth related issues/resources
In addition to providing overall leadership to both staff and residents in a manner consistent with our Vision, Mission and Values, the Program Supervisor will represent Wesley Youth Housing in the community.
This is a permanent full time position with a rate of pay of $ 18.50 per hour with a full benefit package.
