What We Know

We know children and youth, and invest in them so they are empowered to achieve their full potential...everyday.

• We know the homeless and those at risk of losing their homes. We move them from alley's to apartments.

• We know families who face barriers in their daily lives. We support them by offering access to services that build hope and open up economic opportunities.

• We know seniors who are living alone and on a fixed income. We give them the resources to build new relationships and learn how neighbourhoods can be a place of support and services.

• At Wesley Urban Ministries we know those who benefit from a level playing field.

Working with the poor, the marginalized and those who are lost and alone, it would be all too easy to just provide hand-outs. But at Wesley Urban Ministries, we’re called to so much more. Rather than simply providing quick hand-outs which serve only to address immediate needs, we provide people of all ages with a ‘hand-up’ so that they can break the cycle of poverty and achieve a real measure of success.
