Become a Volunteer

Wesley Urban Ministries could not accomplish what we do without the enormous contribution of our very generous volunteers and community leaders. In 1955, a group of community volunteers from Wesley United Church cared for people and began to build what has now become Wesley Urban Ministries. Today our volunteers reflect the very diversity of our community: students, community groups and clubs, business people and professionals, retirees, people of different faiths and cultural groups.

We know you have a lot to offer. Your gifts of time and talents can help us make poverty history. Wesley's services, programs, and special events depend on the combined efforts of more than 1,500 dedicated volunteers. We offer an array of group and individual opportunities, and we're always open to new ideas!

Volunteers are actively engaged at all levels of our organization and in many different capacities such as program support and delivery, administration, event support, leadership and many hands-on opportunities. Volunteers help Wesley Urban Ministries in many programs and with many tasks that help to level the playing field for many in our community.  Consider becoming a volunteer today!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.  At this time, Wesley is
thrilled to have a dedicated team of volunteers that are meeting the unique
needs of our organization.  Check back soon for new volunteer opportunities.
Thank you.
