Wesley Urban Ministries exists because poverty exists.

That comment is just as true today as it was when it was written in 1991, and as it was in 1955 when we first opened our doors. At Wesley Urban Ministries we recognize that we cannot be satisfied with a simple 'charity approach' if we are to eliminate poverty in the long term. We must continue to fight for changes that will truly impact those living in poverty. We must continue to fight for what is right for our communities.
